How to edit an image
Step 1: Add an image by dropping it, choosing it, or pasting from the clipboard.
Step 2: Use the Transform panel to crop, resize, rotate or flip.
Step 3: Use the Adjust panel for brightness, contrast, exposure, saturation and sharpness.
Step 4: Choose an output format and download. Undo and Reset are available throughout.
What this editor is, and what it is not
It covers the operations that account for almost all everyday image editing: framing, size, orientation, tone and format. It is not a replacement for a layer-based editor, and does not pretend to be.
Adjustments preview instantly on a reduced copy, and the export re-runs the same operations at full resolution. The preview and the downloaded file are produced by the same code, so what you see is what you get.
History records the operations you applied rather than copies of the image, so undo is instant and stepping back thirty changes costs nothing.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. There is no account, no sign-up and no email address required. Nothing you do here is associated with a person, because there is nothing to associate it with.
Are there watermarks or locked features?
No. Every format and every control is available to everyone. Nothing is held back behind a payment.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. The layout adapts, the controls are sized for touch, and processing runs with tighter memory limits on smaller devices.
Is my original file modified?
Never. Edits are applied to a copy in memory, and the file on your device is only read. Reset returns to the image exactly as it arrived.
